After working in films such as Naran, Naduvazhikal, No.20 Madras Mail and Run Baby Run, Malayalam cinema veteran Mohanlal and renowned director Joshiy have teamed up for a new film titled, Rambaan. This marks Mohanlal and Joshiy’s 13th film together. Penned by actor Chemban Vinod Jose, the film’s grand pooja and title launch were held in Kochi on Monday.
During the event, the makers unveiled the film’s motion poster presenting the movie’s title. The poster depicts an animated Mohanlal standing atop a vintage car, facing away, holding a hammer and a gun.
Sameer Thahir capturing the visuals, while editing is handled by Vivek Harshan, acclaimed for his work on films like 'Kurup', 'Mahaan,' and 'Bheeshma Parvam'. The music compsed by Vishnu Vijay, known for his exceptional work in Ambili and Thallumaala.
Bankrolled jointly by Chembosky Motion Pictures, Einstin Media and Nextel Studios, the film is scheduled to commence in mid 2024, with an eye on a grand Vishnu / Easter release in 2025.
