We had earlier reported that actor Karthi's 26th film to be directed by Nalan Kumarasamy, best known for directing Soodhu Kavvum, Kaadhalum Kadandhu Pogum. The film is backed by Studio Green and Krithi Shetty will be playing the lead lady.
Now, the makers themselves have shared a special post with the director celebrating his 43rd birthday on the sets of the film. The pictures are the first official confirmation by the team of the filming of Karthi’s 26th film.
As per reports, Karthi 26 official title is 'Vaa Vaathiyarae', and the lead actor Karthi is said to be playing an ardent fan of the veteran actor-politician MG Ramachandran, aka MGR. Anandaraj, Rajkiran playing an important role, while Sathyaraj plays an antagonist.
The film will have music composed by Santhosh Narayanan, cinematography handled by Dinesh B. Krishnan and editing by Leo John Paul. The flick shooting currently underway, It is expected to hit the big screens in early 2024.
