Vikram Prabhu is all set to enthrall audiences with his full-fledged action-packed role in the upcoming film ‘Raid.’ The makers have officially confirmed that the film will have its worldwide theatrical release on November 10, ahead of Diwali. It will clash with the highly anticipated films Jigarthanda Double X and Japan.
Director Muthaiya has written dialogues and directed by Karthi. It is the Tamil remake of the superhit Kannada film, "Tagaru", which starred Shivarajkumar and Dhananjaya. Sri Divya as the female lead role. Raid marks the second collaboration between Vikram Prabhu and Sri Divya, who previously shared the screen with him in the 2014 comedy Vellaikara Durai.
The synopsis reads, "Prabhakaran, an individual from Chennai takes an oath to eradicate wrongdoers in society. However. he faces many struggles and problems from the enemies."
The supporting cast, including Ananthika, Rishi Rithvik, Soundararaja, and others, will play pivotal roles. Sam CS is composing music for this film, which features cinematography by Kathiravan, editing by Manimaran. The film is backed by SK Kanishk and GK Manikannan.
