Malayalam star Mohanlal has multiple movies lined up in the pipeline. The artiste is currently gearing up for his next release, titled 'Neru: Seeking Justice', which is a courtroom drama. It is directed by Jeethu Joseph, marks the duo's fifth collaboration after the Drishyam franchise, 12th Man and the yet-to-be-released RAM: Part 1.
The makers have now released that the film is all set to hit the cinemas on December 21. Neru will be going head-to-head with Prabhas 'Salaar' and Shah Rukh Khan's 'Dunki' during the Christmas season in 2023. The announcement came with a poster where Mohanlal is seen in an intense avatar sitting with multiple books surrounding him.
Neru is scripted by Jeethu and advocate Santhi Mayadevi, who had played a crucial role in Drishyam 2. Mohanlal plays a lawyer. Priyamani plays the female lead in the film, which also stars Anaswara Rajan, Ganesh Kumar, and Jagadish.
Satheesh Kurup is the cinematographer for ‘Neru’ with editing by VS Vinayak and music from Vishnu Shyam. It is produced by Antony Perumbavoor's Aashirvad Cinemas.
