We already informed you that Santhanam will be next seen in the period comedy film, '80s Buildup'. It is directed by Kalyan and backed by Studio Green. The movie is all set to hit the screens on November 24 and the makers launched the official teaser.
The close to 2-minute teaser shows Santhanam as a youngster who is an ardent fan of Kamal Haasan while his grandfather played by veteran filmmaker Sunder Rajan is an ardent Rajinikanth fan. This movie is a comedy rollercoaster set in the funeral ceremony of Santa's grandfather who dies on the release day of Kamal movie.
The teaser has an enjoyable musical score composed by Ghibran with rich visuals by Jacob Rathinaraj and witty cuts by MS Bharathi.
Apart from Santhanam, 80s Buildup will also feature Radhika Preethi, Mansoor Ali Khan, Rajendran, Redin Kingsley, KS Ravikumar, and Thangadurai, among others. Late actors Mayilsamy and Manobala will also be seen in prominent roles.
80s Buildup will be his third outing of the year after DD Returns and Kick. Santhanam is also awaiting the release of Server Sundaram, directed by Anand Balki.
