Trisha Krishnan had two releases in the month of October, one the much-hyped and large-scale production Leo and the other, the relatively small-scaled The Road. The revenge drama, which was helmed by debutante director Arun Vaseegaran.
The Road is hitting OTT platform AHA Video starting on this November 10. Meera, a journalist, and Maya, a college professor, and how their lives turn upside down due to a conflict that happened on a national highway.
Shabeer, Santhosh Prathap, Miya George, MS Bhaskar, Vivek Prasanna and Vela Ramamoorthy among others played important roles in the film which had cinematography by KG Venkatesh and music by Sam CS. AR Shivaraj and Phoenix Prabhu handled editing and action choreography respectively.
AAA Cinemaa Private Limited has backed The Road. The film, which hit theatres on October 6 this year, received mixed to negative reviews.
Let’s wait and see whether the movie will receive good reviews after its OTT streaming.
