Mrunal Thakur predominantly works in Hindi and Telugu films. She won two SIIMA award for romantic drama film "Sita Ramam" which released last year. Dulquer Salman played lead role. it It tells the story of Lieutenant Ram, an orphaned army officer serving at the Kashmir border, gets anonymous love letters from Sita Mahalakshmi, after which Ram is on a mission to find Sita and propose his love.
Now she is working with one more telugu film "Hi Nanna" and Nani is playing lead role. The teaser and lyrical video of the film released and the film is set to release on occassion of Christmas 21st December 2023.
