Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar's latest cinematic venture, Ghost released in theaters on October 19, faced a formidable challenge at the box office from the much-anticipated Tamil blockbuster ‘Leo,’ starring Thalapathy Vijay.
Directed by M. G. Srinivas, the film boasts a gripping narrative crafted by the director himself, with dialogues penned by Prasanna V. Maasti. It is the first installment of a Srini cinematic universe (SCU) where M. G Srinivas will be reprising his role as Mahesh Das from Birbal Trilogy Case 1: Finding Vajramuni.
Latest buzz is that Ghost is all set to arrive on OTT platform Zee5 from November 17. The much-anticipated release will likely include both the Kannada and Telugu versions of the film.
The movie revolves around a gangster and his team as they hijack a prison to seek justice and threaten to release all the criminals if justice is not given.
Apart from Shivarajkumar in the lead role alongside Jayaram and Prashant Narayanan in other prominent roles, Ghost also boasts noteworthy cameo appearances by Dattanna, Archana Jois, and veteran actor Anupam Kher.
Ghost is produced by Sandesh Productions, while the music is by Arjun Janya.
