Chithha

Chithha is an emotional drama that revolves around a man who raises his niece as his own daughter. Everything was normal in their life as soon as the little girl went missing. The movie is directed by S. U. Arun Kumar of Pannaiyarum Padminiyum fame. Siddharth, Nimisha Sajayan, and Anjali Nair are in the key roles in the movie. 

Chithha made on budget of Rs.4 crores, it managed to rake in Rs.16 crores based on the strong story, performances and word of mouth. The film slated to release digital on Disney+ Hotstar. 

The film was rated 8.6 out of 10 on IMDb. 

Kannur Squad

Mammootty's latest crime thriller film 'Kannur Squad', directed by Rony Varghese Raj, the film also stars Shabareesh Varma, Rony David Raj, Azees Nedumangad, and others in key roles. The story of a police officer and his squad as they try to deal with a nefarious criminal gang. The film is based on the real story of a team of police officers who were part of the Kannur Squad, a crime investigation unit, formed by former Kannur SP S. Sreejith IPS. 

The flick recently entered the Rs.100 crore club, becoming sixth highest-grossing Malayalam film in history. The film will start streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. 

The film was rated 8.4 out of 10 on IMDb. 

Ghost

It is marketed as a heist action thriller film starring Shiva Rajkumar in the lead role. It is the first installment of filmmaker MG Srinivas' cinematic universe, where he will be seen reprising his role as Mahesh Das from the 2019 film Birbal Trilogy Case 1: Finding Vajramuni. Anupam Kher, Jayaram, Prashant Narayanan, Satya Prakash and Archana Jois star in it. It revolves around a gangster and his team as they hijack a prison to seek justice and threaten to release all the criminals if justice is not given.

Ghost grossed more than 30 crores at the worldwide box office. It will be released on Zee5.
