Director Gopi Nainar, made his debut with Nayanthara's criticially acclaimed super hit movie 'Aramm'. It's taken a while for him to come up with his second film titled 'Karuppar Nagaram'. The makers released the film official teaser. It shows raw and intense visuals of the suppressed people suffering.
Actor Jai playing the lead role. Aishwarya Rajesh plays the female lead opposite Jai, and the film also has JD Chakravarthy, Eshwari Rao, John Vijay, Subbu Panchu, Daniel Annie Pope and Sreejith Ravi, among others, in crucial roles. KS Prasad is scoring the music, while the cinematography is handled by Ekhambaram.
The shooting of the film is completed and will hit theatres in February 2024.
