Director-actor Ameer's next with director Ramesh Bala Krishnan, titled Maayavalai. It will be jointly produced by Ameer's Ameer Film Corporation and Vetrimaaran's Grass Root Film Company. The makers revealed the motion poster of the film.

Maayavalai also stars Sathya, Sanchita Shetty, Vincent Ashokan, and Dheena, among others. The plot of the film is yet to be revealed.
It's worth mentioning that Yuvan Shankar Raja has worked with Ameer for a long time, composing music for Ameer's movies like Raam, Paruthiveeran, and Mounam Pesiyadhe will also be composing music for the upcoming film. Ramji is handling the cinematography. Lyrics penned by Snekan.
