Ponniyin Selvan actor Jayam Ravi is teaming up with debut filmmaker Antony Bhagyaraj, titled Siren. The director has previously co-written Annathey, Viswasam and Hero. The film’s official Telugu teaser has been released by the makers now. The teaser is generating a lot of excitement and chatter among interested fans.
The teaser features Ravi as an ambulance driver-turned-criminal. He is eagerly awaiting his release from a 14-year jail sentence, only to re-enter society on parole. Also shows Keerthy Suresh as a cop. The teaser suggests a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase between the determined officer and the ex-convict, adding levels of complication to the plot.
The film also stars Anupama Parameswaran, Samuthirakani, Yogi Babu and Tulasi. GV Prakash Kumar is responsible for the music, while Selva Kumar SK handling cinematography and Ruben taking charge of the editing.
Siren is backed by Sujatha Vijaykumar of Home Movie Makers. The film is all set to hit the screens this December.
