Diesel is based on the real-life incidents; the story revolves around Diesel Mafia and the politics around Diesel. Harish Kalyan playing for the first time in complete action avatar.
The film stars Athulyaa Ravi plays the female lead, Vinay as the antagonist and Ananya of Nadodigal fame, who will be making her comeback to Tamil cinema playing his partner. Sai Kumar plays Father role. Diesel, which also features Karunaas, Vivek Prasanna, Sachin Kedhekar, Zakir Husain, Thangadurai, KPY Dheena.
The film has music by Kanaa-fame Dhibu Ninan Thomas. MS Prabhu has served as the cinematographer of the film, while San Lokesh is the editor. Diesel will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. The film is produced by M Devarajulu of Third Eye Entertainment.
