Shilpa Shetty was recently seen in the slice-of-life comedy film Sukhee in which she plays the main lead. Now the film has finally been released on the giant OTT platform Netflix from November 17, 2023.
Directed by Sonal Joshi in her directorial debut, is a captivating narrative that follows the journey of Sukhee, a homemaker daring to break free from the monotony of her routine life, embarking on a lively escapade to Delhi with friends. Sukhee sheds light on societal expectations that often confine women to the relentless demands of family, sidelining their own aspirations.
Sukhee features a diverse cast, including social media influencers Kusha Kapila, Amit Sadh, Chaitanya Choudhury, Dilnaz Irani, Pavleen Gujral, Kiran Kumar, and Vinod Nagpal.
The movie hit theaters on September 22. Unfortunately, the film received negative reviews and performed poorly at the box office.
