Latest political action-drama, Chaaver, which is helmed by Tinu Pappachan, is all set to begin streaming on an OTT platform. Featuring Kunchacko Boban, Antony Varghese, Sajin Gopu and Arjun Ashokan was a much-anticipated movie upon its release.
Chaaver is Tinu’s third flick after Swathanthryam Ardharathriyil (2018) and Ajagajantharam (2021). Both projects were of the action genre. The script is written by actor-director Joy Mathew and cinematography is by Jinto George.
Chaaver focuses on political thugs who take an innocent bystander on the run and the police have to race against time to save the person. Released on 5th October, the film evoked a mixed response with most rating it as a technically brilliant film marred by its weak content.
The movie will premiere in Malayalam via Sony LIV from November 24, neither the OTT platform nor the makers have yet confirmed if the dubbed versions in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi will also be available. But given that the previous Malayalam films had these versions too, it’s likely that Chaaver will also be available in multiple other languages.
