Joju George's recently released Malayalam flick Pulimada, which hit theatres on October 26, got mixed reviews from critics. Despite its lackluster box office performance, will have its digital premiere on Netflix. It will start streaming on November 23 in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi.
Aishwarya Rajesh seems to play the role of a Tamil-speaking guardian angel in Vincent's life. The film also stars Chemban Vinod Jose, Lijomol Jose, Jaffar Idukki, Johny Antony and Balachandra Menon. The film is directed, penned and edited by the master storyteller A.K. Sajan.
The film synopsis reads, “News of a man-eating tiger terrifies a serene village near the wilderness, leading to a curfew and unrest. Police constable Vincent awaits his marriage with great excitement, but a shocking revelation shatters his world.”
After a gap of nine years, Pulimada marks the return of renowned cinematographer-director Venu behind the camera. The film is jointly produced by Appu Pathu Pappu Production House, Ink Lab Cinemas and Land Cinemas.
