Director Vasanthabalan, who recently had the release of his latest directorial Aneethi, presents the Tamil Horror flick "Demon". The film, helmed by his assistant Ramesh Pazhaniivel, is a psychological horror thriller. It hit theatres on September 22 and got negative to mixed reviews from critics and audiences.
The film starred actors like Sachin Mani, Abarnathi, Suruthi Periyasamy and many others. While Sachin is known for Beginning, Abarnathi rose to fame with her performance in Thaen. Her recent film is Irugapatru. Sachin’s performance in the film was appreciated. The music of the movie is composed by Marakkar-fame Ronnie Raphael.
Synopsis: An aspiring filmmaker rents an abandoned apartment in the city to work on his script. The events that occur there make him discover some dark secrets inside the building.
The movie is longer than two hours and if you are a horror fan, you might try it. It will not be bad for a one-time watch though there are some loopholes and problems in the film.
Demon will be available to watch on Aha Video from the 24th of November.
