Bollywood upcoming spy-thriller film "War 2" starring Hrithik Roshan, Jr. NTR and Kiara Advani in the lead roles. The makers have now announced the release date of this biggie. Accordingly, this massive multi-starrer will open in cinemas on 14th August 2025 on the occasion of Independence Day 2025.
The film is helmed by Ayan Mukerji and Produced by Yash Raj Films. War 2 marks Jr NTR and Hrithik's first on-screen collaboration. Jr NTR will be marking his Bollywood debut as an antagonist.
War 2 is a sequel to the 2019 action thriller film War. It was directed by Siddharth Anand and saw Hrithik playing a rogue RAW agent, Kabir while Tiger Shroff played Saurabh, a RAW agent turned mole. The film, which also starred Vaani Kapoor, was a massive success at the box office.
Meanwhile, Hrithik will be next seen in director Siddharth Anand's upcoming aerial action thriller film Fighter opposite Deepika Padukone. Jr NTR, on the other hand, will be seen in the pan-India film Devara, which also stars Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor.
