After helming a blockbuster film with Thalapathy Vijay's Leo recently, now the filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj is gearing up for his next film with Rajinikanth, tentatively titled Thalaivar 171. The director has recently begun the pre-production work, and he is building the script for the film.
Now, the latest update is that Sivakarthikeyan has been roped in to play a prominent role in the film. It has been learned that the agreement has been signed by the actor. Prince actor is an ardent fanboy of Rajinikanth. On multiple occasions, Sivakarthikeyan has expressed his love for Rajinikanth. The latest report grabs wider attention on the internet. No official confirmation regarding this news has been received.
As per reports, the film is said to be a standalone film and would have no connections to the Lokesh Cinematic Universe or LCU.
Composer Anirudh Ravichander and stunt director duo Anbariv are part of the technical team.
Rajinikanth is currently shooting for director TJ Gnanavel's 'Thalaivar 170'. Once he wraps up this film, he will move on to 'Thalaivar 171'. Sun Pictures will produce this big-budget entertainer.
