After basking the success of Por Thozhil, the actor Ashok Selvan's upcoming Tamil film 'Saba Nayagan', directed by CS Karthikeyan who previously assisted Kamal Haasan in Vishwaroopam 1 and 2. The makers have announced that the film will hit theatres on December 15. It will compete with the actor's wife Keerthi Pandian's intense drama Kannagi.
Besides Ashok, the film also stars Megha Akash, Karthika Muralidharan and Chandini Chowdary. Saba Nayagan is touted to be a fun commercial entertainer. Saba Nayagan has music by Leon James, who had previously worked with Ashok Selvan in the hit film Oh My Kadavuley.
Cinematographers Balasubramaniam, Dinesh Purushothaman and Prabhu Rhagav have shot a phase each in the life of the protagonist, while Ganesh Siva is in charge of the editing.
The film is backed by Iyappan Gnanavel's I Cinema Productions.
