Leo director Lokesh Kanagaraj has joined the list of directors who have turned producers. Lokesh recently launched his production house "G Squad". Now, the producer announced the first production venture is titled 'Fight Club'. It features Vijay Kumar of Uriyadi fame and Monisha Mohan Menon in the lead roles.
Fight Club is touted to be an Action, Drama, written and directed by debutant Abbas A Rahmath, who assisted Vijay Kumar in Uriyadi 1 and 2. The makers were unveiled the film first look poster. It features Vijay Kumar and his gang standing on the ground, which seems to be soaked in blood. Based on the poster, the film seems to deal with a pressing social or political subject.
Fight Club also has an ensemble cast, including Karthikeyan Santhanam, Shankar Das, Avinash Raghudevan, and Saravanavel. Govind Vasantha of 96 fame is composing music for the movie. Leon Britto is handling the cinematography. Sasi is the scriptwriter. Kripakaran P is the editor. Fight Club is produced by Aditya of Reel Good Films
The shooting of the film has already been wrapped and post-production work is on at a brisk pace. The film is eyeing a December 2023 release.
Lokesh Kanagaraj’s G Squad presenting this project has increased expectations for it.
