Neena Gupta and Jackie Shroff starrer "Mast Mein Rehne Ka" Hindi slice-of-life film, has decided to skip theatres and release directly on OTT giant platform Prime Video. The original film is all set to release on December 8. It also features Monika Panwar, Abhishek Chauhan, Rakhi Sawant, and Faisal Malik.
The film is written and directed by Vijay Maurya and has been produced by Payal Arora and Maurya under their banner Made in Maurya.
As per the synopsis in the press release, Mast Mein Rehne Ka is a heartwarming narrative delving into the parallel universes of two distinct generations, each navigating its unique reservations and confronting the adversities of life. It is “based on universal themes of second chances in love and life, forgiveness, and redemption.”
The makers also released the film official trailer. It shows Shroff and Gupta as completely opposites. While Shroff portrays as introvert who says, "I'm not good at socializing", Gupta is a Punjabi woman high on life.
