Vikram Prabhu's much-delayed Raid, which finally hit the silver screens for Diwali, is preparing for its OTT release on Aha Tamil, December 8.
Director Muthaiya has written the dialogue for Raid and Directed by Karthi. It is a remake of the superhit Kannada film, Tagaru, which starred Shivarajkumar and Dhananjaya.
During its theatrical run, it received praise for its intense action sequences and engaging storyline, it faced criticism for being cliched and lacking depth in its dialogues.
Sri Divya playing the female lead. Ananthika, Rishi Rithvik, Soundararaja and others also have pivotal roles in the film.
Synopsis: Vikram plays a police officer who is transferred to a new town. He has to deal with a strong gang there that has a ruthless leader. Vikram's character is determined to put an end to the gangster’s reign of terror and restore peace in the town.
It will also be streaming on Simply South and Tentkotta (excluding India)
