Shraddha Srinath & Rohini's Social Drama Witness is directed by Deepak, who is also cinematographer of the film. The flick will skip the theatrical release and go for a direct OTT release on the Sony Liv platform from December 9 in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam .
It revolves around the pertinent topic of manual scavenging. Rohini plays the peeved mother of a youngster who loses his life after indulging in the obnoxious profession for sometime. How a young woman, played by Shraddha, fights against the flawed system to get justice for the mother forms the movie's plot.
TG Vishwa Prasad has bankrolled the film which has screenplay by Muthuvel and JP Sanakya. Ramesh Thamilmani and Philomin Raj have handled music and editing respectively for the project.
