Anwar Rasheed Entertainments, which has produced films like Bangalore Days, Premam, Parava and Trance. The production house recently signed their next film with Romancham fame director Jithu Madhavan. Fahadh Faasil, Soubin Shahir will play the lead in the untitled film. The makers planning to release the movie on the festival of Onam 2023.
Jithu started off his career as an assistant to director John Paul George in Guppy and later in Ambili. John is also one of the producers of Romancham, a horror-comedy based on real incidents. The film starring Soubin as the lead is releasing this Friday (February 3).
Fahadh Faasil, meanwhile, has projects lined up in various languages. He recently wrapped up the shoot of Dhoomam, a multilingual film directed by Kannada director Pawan Kumar. In Tamil, he is part of the Mari Selvaraj directorial Maamannan, while in Telugu, he has Pushpa: The Rule coming up. Akhil Sathyan's Paachuvum Albhuthavilakkum and Sudheesh Sankar's Hanuman Gear are Fahadh's upcoming Malayalam films.
