Yogi Babu, the leading comedy actor of Tamil cinema is continuing to blaze his own trail balancing supporting roles and lead roles in over a dozen films. His most recent turn in a serious role of a doting father of a preteen girl in 'Bommai Nayagi' has received universal positive response.
In the meantime a new movie starring Yogi Babu has been announced with the title 'Lucky Man' to be directed by RJ-turned-actor Balaji Venugopal. The filmmaker Balaji, the Hello FM Jockey who has appeared in films like Naaigal Jaakirathai, Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi, and Kanaa.
The makers have released the first look poster of the film featuring Yogi Babu. The poster had Yogi Babu walking with an L-Board sign on his shirt.
Lucky Man borrows its title from a famous 1995 fantasy comedy by Prathap Pothen that starred Karthik, Goundamani and Senthil. The new Lucky Man, which talks about a man's journey of finding out what real luck. Yogi Babu plays the role of a real estate agent.
The feel-good comedy film also stars 'Thunivu' Veera, Abdul Lee, and Kadaisi Vivasayi-fame Rachel Rebecca in the lead. Think Studio produced the film with music by Sean Roldan and cinematography by Sandeep K Vijay. The entire shooting is already completed, and the post-production work is briskly nearing completion.
