Actor Atharvaa has signed up with debutant director Ravindra Madhava for his next Tamil film christened ‘Thanal’, is tipped as a thriller flick. Backed by Annai Film Production. Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi took to his social media to unveil the exciting title and first look. The poster features the star in a black and white portrait posing with a serious face.
Lavanya Tripathi plays female lead role and Ashwin Kakumanu in a negative character. Apart from the lead actors, Thanal also stars Sha Ra, Barani, Selva, Azhagam Perumal, Bose Venkat, Lakshmi Priya, Bhaarath, Thoufiq, Sarvhaa and Pradeep Vijayan in supporting roles. The technical team includes Justin Prabhakaran as the music composer, Sakthi Saravanan as the cinematographer, Kalaivanan as the editor.
The shooting of Thanal has already been wrapped, the film is slated for a release in March.
