Filmmaker Priyadarshan’s upcoming malayalam action-thriller film ‘Corona Papers’ starring Shane Nigam in the major role. Produced by the director's banner Four Frames, the film is reportedly the remake of the Tamil film 8 Thottakal. Priyadarshan is adapting the script based on the original director Sri Ganesh's story.
Shane Nigam will be reprising the cop's role played by Vetri in 8 Thottakal. The Malayalam version has Gayathrie Shankar, who played a significant role in the Malayalam movie 'Nna Thaan Case Kodu', is the heroine. The film is currently in its post-production stage and planning to release the film on April 2023.
Cinematography of Corona Papers is handled by Divakar S Mani. While the music is composed by M R Rajakrishnan, Ayyappan Nair is in charge of the edits.
