Udhayanithi Stalin’s long-delayed Kannai Nambathey finally gets a release date. The makers have confirmed that the film will be releasing on March 17th 2023. The film is directed by Mu Maran, who earlier helmed Iravukku Aayiram Kangal. Notably, the film's title is from a popular song from the 1975 MG Ramachandran film Ninaithadhai Mudippavan.
The film billed as a suspense-thriller, also features Aathmika, Bhumika Chawla, Sathish, Vasundhara Kashyap, Marimuthu, Subiksha Krishnan, Pazha.Karuppiah, and Ku. Gnanasambandam. Cinematography by Jalandhar Vasan with Sridhar serving as an additional cinematographer. San Lokesh has served as the editor. With music scored by Siddhu Kumar, the film is produced by LIPI Cine Crafts. Udhayanidhi’s banner Red Giant Movies is releasing the film.
Meanwhile, Udhayanidhi will be next seen in Mari Selvaraj's Maamannan, which he recently announced will be the last film in his acting career.
