After making her OTT debut with the Netflix series, The Fame Game, Madhuri Dixit is set to be seen in the direct-to-digital release film, Maja Ma. The Hindi film, helmed by Anand Tiwari, is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on October 6, 2022. The family drama has an ensemble cast including Madhuri Dixit, Gajraj Rao, Ritwik Bhowmik, Srishti Shrivastava, and Barkha Singh in lead roles.
Madhuri Dixit will be seen sharing screen space with the talented Gajraj Rao for the first time in Maja Ma. The movie tells the story of a conservative family with Madhuri Dixit playing the role of Pallavi, the wife of a timid husband and mother to a family-oriented son and a daughter who believes in fighting for just causes. As the son falls in love with an NRI woman, the marriage and the family itself comes under the threat of breaking apart as rumors spread about Pallavi.
