Bakasuran, the Kollywood crime thriller film, was released theatrically on February 17, 2023. It is a Mohan G. Kshatriyan film. He is also the film’s producer. The movie did not receive great reviews from critics. In just over a month since the release of Bakasuran and it is now making its way to digital platforms. Bakasuran deals with the issue of cyber harassment and the importance of parents being aware of their children's problems. The film should begin streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 24th March, which is this Friday.
The movie stars Selvaraghavan and Natty in lead roles, with Mansoor Ali Khan, Radha Ravi, and Saravana Subbiah in supporting roles. The film marked the director Selvaraghavan's main lead debut, after he played a pivotal roles in Beast, Saani Kaayidham and Naane Varuvaen. Sam CS has composed the music of the film. The film's satellite rights bagged by Kalaingar TV.
