The streaming giant Disney+ Hotstar has now acquired another Telugu film for a direct-to-OTT release. The platform’s next release is O Kala, a romance drama starring Gourish Yeleti, Roshni Sahota and Prachi Thacker in the lead roles. The film is written and directed by Deepak Kolipaka.
The trailer showcases the ups and downs in the romantic relationship of a young couple. The guy is pursuing a career in the film industry, and his girlfriend believes that he's living a trouble-free life. However, a filmmaker creates difficulties for the aspiring actor by assigning him menial tasks on set, while his relationship with his girlfriend remains harmonious. Eventually, a misunderstanding arises, causing them to break up. Will there be a happy resolution to their story?
Raghavendra, Ali play important roles in O Kala. Neelesh Mandalapu scores the music for the film which has cinematography by Akhil Valluri. Satya Giduturi is the editor.
Catch it on Disney+ Hotstar, starting April 13, 2023.
