Mammootty starrer ‘Kannur Squad’ has stepped into its post-production stage, as the makers wrapped up the shoot a week ago. The team has now shared the second look poster of the film. In the poster, Mammootty, Shabareesh, Rony David Raj, and Azees Nedumangad can be seen looking inside a vehicle after a fight. They all seem to be playing cops in the film. Mammootty reportedly plays the role of an ASI.
The director of the film is Robbie Varghese Raj, who was the cinematographer of Mammootty's Puthyaniyam and The Great Father. Kannur Squad is also the first film directed by Robbie Varghese. Muhammad Shafi's story is scripted and dialogued by Mohammad Shafi and actor Rony David Raj. It is backed by Mammootty's home production banner Mammootty Kampany.
