Rani Mukherji’s much-awaited film, Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway, made its theatrical release in March 2023 and received mixed critical opinions. The movie was based on the actual story of an Indian couple whose children were kidnapped by Norwegian police in 2011. A family courtroom drama Written and directed by Ashima Chibber, the movie features an ensemble cast, including Jim Sarbh, Neena Gupta, Anirban Bhattacharya, Barun Chanda, Mithu Chakraborty among others.
'Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway' had its premiere on Netflix India after a successful theatrical release. The movie is available for streaming from May 12th, and anyone with a subscription can watch it. The film is the highest grossing Bollywood film in Norway and has become the most-watched South Asian film in Norway.
