The Vidyut Jammwal-starrer Bollywood action thriller, IB71 hit theatres on May 12, garnering positive reviews from critics and audiences alike for its intense narrative and impressive performances. But it was a commercial failure at the box office. After close to two months of its release, IB 71 is now up for the digital debut. Disney+ Hotstar, the streaming platform confirmed that the film will stream on this platform from July 7 (Friday).
IB 71 is directed by Sankalp Reddy, who won the National Film Award for helming Best Feature Film in Telugu in his directorial debut Ghazi, which was released in Hindi as The Ghazi Attack in 2017. The film IB71, set during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, tells the story of how Indian intelligence averted attacks from Pakistan and China by blocking the airspace.
Also starring Vishal Jethwa, Faizan Khan, Anupam Kher, Ashwath Bhatt, Danny Sura, and Suvrat Joshi in key roles, the film marks Vidyut Jammwal’s first movie as a producer under his banner named Action Hero Films. T- series and Reliance Entertainment also co-produced the spy thriller based on real events.
Talking about Vidyut Jammwal's professional front, the actor next will be seen in 'Sher Singh Rana' and has 'Crakk' in the pipeline. He will soon revive his role in the 'Commando' series and will be sharing the screen with Adah Sharma.
The movie has got pretty good reviews and ratings and you will not regret watching it.
