Vijay Sethupathi is currently enjoying the success of his last release, ‘Jawan.’ VJS has teamed up with Kurangu Bommai director Nithilan Swaminathan, titled "Maharaja". The film will also be VJS's 50th film. The makers has unveiled the first-look poster of 'Maharaja'.
The poster features VJS, covered in blood and with a bandaged ear, sitting on a barber’s chair holding a bloodied sickle as cops look helplessly in the background.
Alongside VJS, the film will also feature Anurag Kashyap, Mamta Mohandas, and Natty playing important roles. Ajaneesh Loknath is scoring the music, while the cinematography is handled by Dinesh Purushothaman.
Maharaja is being produced jointly by Passion Studios & The Route. It has completed its production and is in the post-production phase. The film is yet to get a release date.
