Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire is an upcoming Indian Telugu-language action thriller film written and directed by Prashanth Neel, and produced by Vijay Kiragandur. It stars Prabhas as the titular character. along with Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy, and Ramachandra Raju.
The film was announced in December 2020 with principal photography beginning in January 2021 near Godavarikhani, Telangana. The music is composed by Ravi Basrur, while the cinematography is done by Bhuvan Gowda. It is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on 22 December 2023
The trailer will be out on Dec, 1st 2023 7:19 PM. Prashanth Neel directed K.G.F Chapter 1 and K.G.F chatpter 2, his last film crossed 1000 crores worldwide. After Baahubali -2: The Conclusion, Prabhas acted in many big budget films - Saaho, Radhe Shyam and Adipurush. These films are not impressed Audience and films got flop at box office too. But still Prabhas fans are eagerly waiting for his comeback with Salaar because it is directed by Prashanth Neel. This film is expected to be released on Dec 22nd 2023 but the date is not finalized yet officially by the production team.
