Maa Oori Polimera was one of the few OTT hits that released in 2021 and grew on audiences gradually over time despite minimal promotions. The movie’s response on the OTT platform gave the makers immense confidence, which made them produce the sequel. The film produced by Gowr Kriesna. Anil Vishwanath directed the movie Polimera-2 and also provided the story, screenplay and dialogues.
After the huge success of Polimera 2, the film is going to enter OTT. The movie will be available for streaming on 8th December on Aha OTT platform. Aha officially revealed this matter. Aha Gold subscription holders can watch the film 24 hours earlier on December 7.
The synopsis reads, "In a village plagued by black magic, a policeman sets out to seek justice for his brother's meaningless death but discovers something unexpected."
Satyam Rajesh, Baladitya, Getup Srinu and Kamakshi Bhaskarla played lead roles in the film. Maa Oori Polimera 2 had a budget of Rs 6 crore, inclusive of promotional costs and earned Rs 15 crore worldwide in the first week, earning more than double its budget.
